From My Heart

When I look into this picture it reminds me of how our spirit feels as it is drawn into the beauty and peace of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. So often we look at death as loss and sadness. Yet the end of life for the saints of God it is really a new day of eternal life and going home to be with our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, the giver of eternal life and peace. Some days I get so homesick for my heavenly home and to be in His glorious presence, gathered around His throne with my family and loved ones that have gone before me. What a glorious day that will be when all God’s saints get home!

Psalm 116:15 Precious in the sight of the LORD is the death of his saints.

Romans 8:38-39 For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come, Nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.

1 Peter 1:3-5 Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, which according to his abundant mercy hath begotten us again unto a lively hope by the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead,To an inheritance incorruptible, and undefiled, and that fadeth not away, reserved in heaven for you, Who are kept by the power of God through faith unto salvation ready to be revealed in the last time.

Revelation 14:13 And I heard a voice from heaven saying unto me, Write, Blessed are the dead which die in the Lord from henceforth: Yea, saith the Spirit, that they may rest from their labours; and their works do follow them.
