Woe Unto Them

I have had a sense of restlessness lately. I know the Lord has a calling on my life to teach and to speak God’s truth to others in love. Lately I have not been doing that. When I returned to my Facebook site a few weeks ago I felt the Lord wanted me to go in a different direction from what I was posting before. I intend to change that now. Some may leave my site. That’s OK, but I have to do what God places within my heart. So here goes.

We are living in a world were evil is abounding and we as Christian are sitting by in our comfort zone afraid to speak out against the evil taking place. We all want to see pretty pictures and read uplifting verses. That’s all great; God is love but he is also a God of judgment. I was reading in Ecclesiastes this morning in Chapter 3 verses 16-17 where it says: And moreover I saw under the sun the place of judgment, that wickedness was there; and the place of righteousness, that iniquity was there. I said in mine heart, “God shall judge the righteous and the wicked: for there is a time there for every purpose and for every work.” Evil is abounding in our world today because the righteous are afraid to speak up and call sin a sin. We are afraid to speak out for fear of retaliation or we fear Facebook will shut us down. Yet, where would we be today as Christians if Jesus and the disciples had not been willing to speak out? We would not have the opportunity for Salvation, nor would we know the gospel of Christ without those willing to stand for what is right and good in God’s eyes.

Our world is filled with iniquity. Here are just a few examples of many. This morning I was reading a post by Franklin Graham where he talks about a rapper, I will not call any name just look it up for yourself, who is promoting a new pair of sneakers called “Satan Shoes”. Each pair of these shoes has a drop of human blood on them. They are only producing 666 of them, each one numbered. One of this rapper’s videos shows him dancing on a stripper pole while going down into hell to give Satan a lap dance. Can you just imagine how abhorred God must be by such actions!

I did not watch the Grammy Award but I have seen videos of songs on the show promoting sexual content. This is evil again being promoted as good. We are being faced with the censorship of Dr. Seuss books and the cartoons we grew up on being taken from off the air for fear it will SOMEHOW brainwash our children into violence. But the videos our younger generation plays is filled with killing, violence, the spilling of blood being splattered across the television screen. Yet we wonder why there is so much violence in the world today??

God has been taken from our schools, we can no longer pray in public for fear of harassment. The Ten Commandments (the very essence of what our laws are based upon) are no longer displayed in public. We fear speaking the truth by God’s Word in a world were evil has become rampant for fear of retaliation for those truths spoken.

Isaiah 5:20 says; Woe unto them that call evil good, and good evil; that put darkness for light, and light for darkness; that put bitter for sweet, and sweet for bitter! God sees my friends, He see the evil taking place; and He sees where we who call ourselves His people are standing in the mist of all that is taking place.

God loves all mankind but He hates sin. He will only tolerate the iniquity of this world so long before He will call an end to it. We are living under His grace and mercy right now but there will come a day of judgment; a day when the good will be separated from the evil (Matthew 13:49). As for me I want to be found as one of those following Christ, doing His work, teaching His Word, and showing His love to others. I pray many others are willing to do the same.

I will continue to post my pictures but if you continue to follow me you will be seeing more posts like this one. If you agree with me please share these posts, we need for God’s Word to go out to as many as possible. I know I run the chance of being shut down by Facebook and Instagram for speaking truth. If this happens you can follow me @ http://accepted-by-his-amazing-grace.org/

God Bless each of you! Jeanette
