God is in Control

Romans 15:13

Now the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, that ye may abound in hope, through the power of the Holy Ghost.

Yesterday as I was talking with my sister we got on the subject of what we see happening in the world right now. She commented as to how so many just go on without even giving a thought as to how this is playing out in a biblical sense. To often we only see the turmoil, and yes I agree, we are living in a very trying time as we watch what is playing out in the Ukraine and even in our own country. It is so easy to become overburdened to the point we want to go somewhere and hide when we see what is happening. Yet, on the other hand we know we do not need to be unaware either. As God’s children we need to find a balance between being aware of what is happening but still holding on to our hope and faith in Christ; finding peace in His promises to us.

Jesus warned us in Matthew 24 of all we see happening today. Verse 6 says, “And ye shall hear of wars and rumours of wars: see that ye be not troubles: for all these things must come to pass, but the end is not yet.” Jesus wanted us to be aware of the times we are in, but he also wants us to find hope in Him through the power of the Holy Ghost who constantly dwells within each of us. Romans 15: 13 tells us the God of hope fills us with all joy and peace in believing that we may abound in hope through the power of the Holy Ghost.

Are you becoming overburdened today with all the turmoil we see around us? I encourage you to go to God’s Word and find peace and hope through Him as His Word comes alive in your spirit while you spent time with Him.

Trust Him and Hold on my friends for “ Our Heavenly Father Is Still In Control!!”
