Blessed is the man that walketh not in the counsel of the ungodly, nor standeth in the way of sinners, nor sitteth in the seat of the scornful. But his delight is in the law of the LORD; and in his law doth he meditate day and night. And he shall be like a tree planted by the rivers of water, that bringeth forth his fruit in his season; his leaf also shall not wither; and whatsoever he doeth shall prosper. Psalms 1:1-3
Luke 19:10 For the Son of man is come to seek and to save that which was lost.
Jesus loves us despite who we are. He came to seek and safe those who have lost their way. He longs to have a close relationship with us. When we give our heart to Him He covers us with His blood. He no longer sees our past, our failures, the person we use to be; we are new in His sight. As we begin to humble ourselves to Him He begins to transform us. We love those who have hurt us and forgive those who have transgressed against us. We turn from this world with all its evil and begin to find peace in the almighty presence of the Lord where there is everlasting hope, joy, and peace. We are no longer lost but we are found again, resting in His love and grace. Have you lost your way? Call out to the Lord, He is waiting for you with open arms and He will show you the way!!! Love In Christ, Jeanette
James 1:3 kjv Knowing this, that the trying of your faith worketh patience.
Many years ago, when I was just a young Christian, I said to wise older Christian lady that I was praying for patience. I remember vividly how she looked up at me with a smile on her face and said I hope you’re ready for the trials because patience is learned by the trying of our faith. How very true Sister Shirley was, for through the years I have faced many trials that have tested my faith and endurance. Yet, through it all the Lord never left me, never turned His back on me, walked away or said I don’t love you anymore. His love was consistent, ever enduring, always unwavering. So, through those trials my patience has grown and today I am still holding on to the best thing that ever happened to me, and that my friends was the Lord Jesus Christ coming to live in my heart and life.
Today, no matter what trial you are facing, the Lord is still with you. Hold on to Him for He will see you through whatever trials that come into your life. Keep your eye on Him and on that home above where there will be no more need for patience. For we will have finally reached that home of peace where there will be no more trials, no more heartaches, and no more tears.
Genesis 1:1 In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth. Genesis 1:11-12 And God said, Let the earth bring forth grass, the herb yielding seed, and the fruit tree yielding fruit after his kind, whose seed is in itself, upon the earth: and it was so. And the earth brought forth grass, and herb yielding seed after his kind, and the tree yielding fruit, whose seed was in itself, after his kind: and God saw that it was good.
As I look out the window at the sunshine and the beauty of each fall color of orange, red, gold, and brown I am in awe of our Heavenly Father and His mighty work. Jehovah’s mighty hand made all things, and it is all perfect. Just as He paints His beauty around us, He also instills His beauty inside each of us who love Him and desire His companionship. He makes each of us perfect as He cleans us up, gives us a new heart, and the light of the Holy Spirit to live within us. I pray our Father fill each of you with love, peace, and grace today. Through Him we all can become the Father’s beauty for all to see.
