From My Heart

Over the past few weeks my heart has been heavy as I watch the changes taking place in our world. I have sat and debated with myself as to whether I should write what was on my heart. As a Christian and a woman who loves the Lord and people I feel I have to say what is on my mind and in heart. I started this site and I post pictures that I find beautiful simply to share with you the beauty the Lord has prepared for us to enjoy but most of all I post because I want to share the scriptures, the words of my Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ, my Savior. I know most people enjoy the uplifting verses that are shared but I have felt more and more that the Lord wants me to share the verses warning of the sins we are becoming so comfortable with. They are not to judge anyone (only the Father above has that right) but to teach as many as possible the full Word of the Lord. I believe we are drawing very close to the return of our Savior and our time may be growing short to share His truth with those who will listen.

Have I always lived a perfect life? No, but I thank my Savior everyday for his grace and mercy to me. I have been a bible study teacher for over 35 years, 20 plus years to our youth and now a teacher to our adult class. So many times I have wished I could just sit down and rest. I have thought that maybe I wasn’t doing any good, but the Lord has never given me the option to stop and rest. He put a burning desire in me to spread His word to all, to teach those who will listen, and to love all people. Those times when I have grown weary and wanted to just stop the Lord wouldn’t let me have any peace until I again returned to what He has called to do.

The Lord inspired me to start the Facebook page Accepted By Grace and he has laid upon my heart the desire to start my blog Accepted by Grace & Living A Blessed Life. I never post anything out of hate for anyone but I post out of love for all. I weep, as I know many of you do, when you see the shape our world has gotten it’s self into. Please know when I post scripture that is a warning that I am not trying to judge you or those you love. I am simply doing what my Heavenly Father has put upon my heart, to sow the seed of His Word and to pray for the harvest to be plentiful.

Jesus said far better than I ever could in John 4: 35-38
Say not ye, There are yet four months, and then cometh harvest? behold, I say unto you, Lift up your eyes, and look on the fields; for they are white already to harvest. And he that reapeth receiveth wages, and gathereth fruit unto life eternal: that both he that soweth and he that reapeth may rejoice together. And herein is that saying true, One soweth, and another reapeth. I sent you to reap that whereon ye bestowed no labour: other men laboured, and ye are entered into their labours.

Jesus did the real work we as Christians are only following through with what he instructed us to do in Matthew 28:19-20 Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost: Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you always, even unto the end of the world. Amen.

The Word of the Lord and the Holy Spirit will comfort us, lead us, and teach us all things. His Word will never return void. We need to hold to this promise as we teach by word and especially by example to those around us.
Isaiah 55: 6-13
Seek ye the Lord while he may be found, call ye upon him while he is near:
Let the wicked forsake his way, and the unrighteous man his thoughts: and let him return unto the Lord, and he will have mercy upon him; and to our God, for he will abundantly pardon.
For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways, saith the Lord.
For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways, and my thoughts than your thoughts. For as the rain cometh down, and the snow from heaven, and returneth not thither, but watereth the earth, and maketh it bring forth and bud, that it may give seed to the sower, and bread to the eater: So shall my word be that goeth forth out of my mouth: it shall not return unto me void, but it shall accomplish that which I please, and it shall prosper in the thing whereto I sent it. For ye shall go out with joy, and be led forth with peace: the mountains and the hills shall break forth before you into singing, and all the trees of the field shall clap their hands. Instead of the thorn shall come up the fir tree, and instead of the brier shall come up the myrtle tree: and it shall be to the Lord for a name, for an everlasting sign that shall not be cut off.

There will come a day for all who follow Jesus Christ when we as His people will enjoy the blessings spoken of here.
Please join me in helping to spread the gospel around the world, together we can make a difference. I love each of you through Christ, our Savior. I pray each of are blessed beyond measure.

  1. Jeanette, I am fairly new to your blog. I am a Christian and retired Christian counselor married to a retired Minister of the Gospel. I am enjoying your posts, and words of inspiration. You are making a difference in my life, and I believe in the lives of a lot of others. Keep on keeping on doing God’s work. I know we all need a little encouragement as we live our truth, and travel our journey in life. I, too, try to lift up others each day of my life on my Facebook page, and a lot reassure me that they feel inspired by what the Holy Spirit leads me to post. May God bless you as you follow Jesus.
